Household disposable batteries (alkaline) may be disposed of with residential household waste. Vehicle and other lead acid batteries can be dropped off at the public use site under the shed beside the used oil and used antifreeze to be recycled. All other batteries, including lithium and Ni-Cad, are classified as hazardous waste and will not be accepted.
